Worried something won’t fit or arrive as expected? You’ve got time. You can request a return or exchange within 30 days from the delivery date, and we’ll guide you through each step.

1. Who can return and when
Returns and exchanges are available for eligible items within 30 days from the day your order was delivered. Please start your request as soon as you decide the item isn’t right for you.
2. Eligible reasons for a return
- Defective or faulty item
- Damaged in transit
- Wrong item received
- Wrong size shipped (different from what you ordered)
- Significantly different from the description or product photos
3. Item condition requirements
- Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
- All original tags attached
- In original packaging where possible (including accessories or extras)
- Please take care during try-on to avoid makeup, deodorant, fragrance, or pet hair transfer
4. Photo and proof requirements
Clear visuals help us resolve issues quickly. Please include:
- Well-lit close-up of the defect or issue (if applicable)
- Photo of the size tag and brand tag
- Full front and back photos of the item
- Photo of the packing slip or order confirmation (if available)
5. How to request a return or exchange
- Email [email protected] from the address used to place the order.
- Include your order number and delivery date.
- Tell us the reason (from the list above) and add a short description.
- Attach the required photos.
- State your preferred resolution: refund, exchange for a different size/color (if available), or replacement for defects/wrong item.

Please use a trackable service and keep the receipt until your refund or exchange is completed.
7. What we can’t accept
- Used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged items
- Items missing original tags or with tags removed
- Items with strong odors, stains, or pet hair
- Minor cosmetic variations such as slight color or texture differences due to lighting, device displays, or fabric lots
8. Exchanges
Want a different size or color? If the item is in stock, we’re happy to exchange. We’ll reserve your replacement once your return is approved. The replacement ships after we receive and inspect the original. If the exchange is due to our error, we cover the return shipping and the replacement’s outbound shipping. For change-of-mind exchanges, you pay the return shipping and a standard shipping fee ($6.99) may apply for the replacement shipment.
9. Approvals, timelines, and refunds
- We’ll email your approval or next steps within 1–2 business days of your request.
- After we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 5–10 business days to post the credit.
- No restocking fees. Original shipping is refunded only when Rarate is at fault (see table above).
